The New Year

We had a very happy Christmas,

During Christmas break we got to wear pj's til noon, play lego, build forts, visit with Grandma, see our friends, eat good food and get out in the snow.

In early January the snow came to Vancouver for a wonderful, wintry week. We celebrated this exciting event by building a snowman, going sledding and getting snow tires!

When the snow left, we had to fill the void somehow, so we turned to the kitchen for comfort...

Rowyn got right into (the box) making Rice Krispie squares.

And one lucky crocodile got a birthday cake. The kids decorated the cake (no, really?!?). Look out that Ninja is armed!

Dancing

Rowyn enjoyed her Blossoming ballerina class this fall.

She was a little shy at first,

but soon came out of her shell.

Twinkle, twinkle little star!

Cheese!

Hallowe'en

Getting ready for Hallowe'en began at the pumpkin patch, next stop: the Haunted House!

Here are our two Ninjas heading out to trick or treat.

The Parker Street Ninjas.

August

August was fun...
being crazy with cousins Connor and Alex,

meditating on kids' stuff,

catching frogs etc,

canoeing,

exploring,
swimming (almost, it's a long story).

Summer begins

They made it to the top!
