Who's excited to be 7 years old?

 Our new family member, Jenna, arrives. Big brother Gryffin is so excited!

We celebrated with rainbow cake and hot dogs

 Rowyn received a riding lesson with her friend Marina for her birthday. Even after being completely tired after their lesson they both wanted to come again the next day. They can't wait to go back soon!

Hiking/Scrambling In Squamish

Gryffin and Scott hiked the Squamish Chief's 3 peaks last weekend (12-13 km and 2000' of elevation gain and loss). They took the less travelled and secret routes which included some scrambling and ropes. They had a great day out with friends Ben and Sandy.

Rowyn's Mini-Triathlon

Rowyn did a mini-triathlon today, here are some photos of the event.

Gryffin's 10th Birthday - Minecraft!

For Gryffin's 10th birthday he planned a Minecraft birthday party. He's been reading handbooks and playing the game for many weeks now, so he had a lot of ideas for the party. He set the agenda, but left the practical details up to us. Scott and I got to learn a lot about Minecraft while getting the party organized!
